BB ACRYLIC LIQUID MONOMER FOR ALL TYPE OF NAILS
Acrylic nail monomer is a liquid substance used in the creation of acrylic nails, which are artificial nail enhancements. It is a key component in the process of forming durable and aesthetically pleasing nails
Application Process
1. Preparation: The natural nails are cleaned, filed, and sometimes primed to ensure proper adhesion.
2. Mixing: The monomer is combined with acrylic powder. Nail technicians dip a brush into the monomer and then into the powder, creating a small bead of mixed material.
3. Application: The bead is placed on the natural nail or nail form and shaped as desired. The technician moulds and smooths the mixture into the desired nail shape and length.
4. Curing: The mixture hardens quickly, typically within minutes, through the polymerization process. This doesn’t require UV light and happens at room temperature.
5. Finishing: The hardened acrylic nails are filed, buffed, and polished to achieve the final look.
Properties
- Durability: Acrylic nails created with monomer are strong and can withstand significant wear and tear.
- Versatility: Can be shaped and sculpted into various designs and lengths.
- Longevity: Properly applied acrylic nails can last several weeks before requiring fills or maintenance.
- Adhesion: Strong adhesion to the natural nail, minimizing the risk of lifting and separation.
Safety Considerations
- Ventilation: Adequate ventilation is essential during application to avoid inhalation of fumes, which can be irritating.
- Skin Contact: Prolonged skin contact should be avoided to prevent allergic reactions or dermatitis.
- Storage: The monomer should be stored in a cool, dark place to prevent premature polymerization and degradation.
